Lenire Proudly Sponsors Outring Tinnitus Podcast

The team behind Lenire, a non-invasive tinnitus therapy device proven in large-scale clinical trials, is proud to be the first corporate sponsor of the Outring Tinnitus Podcast.

Hosted by Frieder Kühne, Outring raises tinnitus awareness and discusses therapy options based on Kühne’s personal experience. Lenire and Outring Tinnitus’s partnership helps further our shared mission of amplifying awareness of tinnitus and science-based treatments.

“Outring Tinnitus Podcast has been an inspirational voice in the tinnitus community. This partnership is born of our shared commitment to improving quality of life for tinnitus sufferers and we are excited to support Outring’s growth” said Neil Doyle, Lenire Head of Marketing.

Listen to Frieder Kühne’s interview with Neuromod’s CSO, Professor Hubert Lim.

Tinnitus coach Kühne was born deaf in one ear and has had tinnitus in his other ear for 13+ years. The Outring and mytinnitus.club founder struggled with tinnitus early-on. Not just with affliction, but also with the lack of awareness and tinnitus relief information.

Tinnitus affects 300 million people worldwide but the common condition is often dismissed. Kühne’s belief in promoting science-based solutions makes Lenire the perfect fit as Outring’s first corporate sponsor.

“I believe that Lenire shares very similar values and a vision of hope and positive progress for people with tinnitus. Lenire’s sponsorship of Outring has created a powerful alliance for spreading awareness around evidence-based tinnitus treatments,” said Kühne

Lenire uses a combination of sound stimulation and mild-electrical tongue stimulation to relieve tinnitus. In a recent large-scale clinical trial, 91% of compliant patients showed a positive impact that lasted 12-months after treatment ended.

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is the perception of sound when there is no external source. While it is often thought of as ringing in the ears, each person has a unique experience. Tinnitus may be described as buzzing, humming, hissing or even whistling sensations.

People with tinnitus often find it bothersome but learn to live with it. However, tinnitus can have a serious impact on a patient’s quality of life. Serious cases can lead to stress, anxiety, social isolation, and depression.

There are a variety of treatments that soothe and manage tinnitus. Treatments include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), audio therapy or Lenire’s bimodal neuromodulation treatment plan.
