Lenire sponsors British Tinnitus Association’s (BTA) Tinnitus Week
Lenire is proud to be a sponsor of the British Tinnitus Association’s (BTA) Tinnitus Week 2021, which aims to ensure that everyone with tinnitus can get the right information, from the right place, at the right time, when it comes to their condition.
Tinnitus Week will run from 1st-7th February 2021 and the theme for this year’s event is twofold;
(1.) to raise awareness of tinnitus, and the debilitating impact it has on patients; and
(2.) to improve the patient journey for tinnitus sufferers.
Lenire is a non-invasive home-use medical device, that delivers bimodal neuromodulation treatment, and has been shown to reduce the symptoms of many living with Tinnitus. It has been used in clinical trials involving more than 500 participants.
The treatment, which combines sound stimulation to the ear with gentle electrical stimulation to the tongue, was found to improve tinnitus symptoms in 86.2% of treatment-compliant participants after a period of 12 weeks in a recent clinical trial. More than 80% of compliant participants also reported an improvement of their symptoms even a year after treatment.
